Hi Kengo,

As long as you don't use minimum clamp on COMP pin, you should be ok.

Hi Kengo,

Please check section 8.2.2.10 Compensation in the DS in order to calculate the compensation for your system. That should put the Device in FPWM (forced Pulse width modulation) mode.

Hi Andrew,

Does this mean that if COMPpin falls below 500mV, it will go into PFM mode?
If I fix it above 500mV, can I drive it in FPWM mode?

Hi Kengo,

Don't fix it to 500mV with an external circuit. If you follow the direction on how to make the compensation circuit based on your operating condition, it will go into FPWM mode.
