LM51772: Multiphase Operation

Part Number: LM51772

Tool/software:

I am looking at connecting two of the LM51772EVM-HP evaluation boards in Parallel (Multiphase) operation and would appreciate some assistance. I have currently configured two separate evaluation boards in I2C mode (which I would like to continue to utilize).  I have the capability to enable/disable, set the output voltage and limit the current of these converters.  I have tested connecting the outputs together and have shown some capability to load share even without utilizing the multiphase capability.  I would like to connect the ICs in multiphase mode, power up and configure each IC separately via I2C (same config except for SYNC) and enable the outputs (via EN pin) and then load share.  I think this should be possible but please confirm if I can utilize the I2C mode and have multiphase operation.

On reviewing the LM51772 datasheet page 107 I see the following figure:

The nets in the datasheet are not appropriately labeled to help determine what all connections need to be made to operate in multiphase.  I see that the comp components are removed for one IC, and the COMP should be connected between the two ICs, and I assume that SYNC should be connected as well (one set as output rising edge the other input with falling edge??).  It looks like the FB/nINT pins should be connected.  Does the FB/nINT need to be connected if I am using I2C voltage control?

Any suggestions on what connections/jumper configurations need to be made between these two evaluation boards to allow for multiphase operation would be much appreciated!  Thanks!
