TPS7A7200: Configuration for stepping down from 5V to 4.2V using the TPS7A7100RGTR

Is it possible to generate a 4.2V power supply using the TPS7A7100RGTR with the configuration mentioned above? Also, I would appreciate it if you could check the startup time to reach 4.2V and the appropriateness of the Css value.

Hi Atsushi,

This configuration should work as expected. Startup time will be approximately 2.5ms to reach 90% of the final output voltage. Given the voltage drop and output current I do not expect there to be significant thermal issues in this application.
