BQ25750: ACFET and Switcher FETs

Part Number: BQ25750

Tool/software:

Hi,

Our Nominal battery is 25.6V and Typical AC input is 36V.

It is just an observation that we have deployed higher current MOSFETs at AC and Switcher sides even though our application need is only about 3A.

Currently the deployed part is IAUCN10S7N040 at switcher side and ISC035N10NM5LF2 at AC side.

The main reason for selecting higher current parts is reference from EVAL board.

Now, We are planning to convert all these 6 MOSFETs’ part number to ISC0702NLS.

Will there any impact due to part number conversion.

Please check and suggest.

Regards,

Saravana

  • Hello Saravana,

I think the ISC0702NLS should for work for the ACFETs and switching FETs. The SOA chart looks good and the switching characteristics look good as well.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Here's the safe operating area for reference. I've highlighted VDS=30V in red:
