BQ24780S: Abnormal oscillation of ACDRV and ACDET waveforms

Part Number: BQ24780S

Tool/software:

Dear TI Engineer,

We found abnormal oscillations in the ACDRV and ACDET waveforms while testing the waveform of BQ24780S.

The waveform of ACDET :

The waveform of ACDET:

The waveform at the moment of removing ACDRV is as below. This picture also shows an attempt to pull up the ACDRV (after removing the regular adapter, there is still a USB PD 100W adapter present), but it was unsuccessful. Then the oscillation began

The waveform of the D pole of ACFET at the moment of disconnection is as follows:

The waveform of VCC pin is as below. Due to the use of diode OR with the battery, VCC did not decrease to UVLO.

We found that ACDRV and CMSRC are abnormal, but there is a normal steady voltage behind RBFET. Does this state indicate that BQ24780S has entered some kind of abnormal state? Can you help confirm it?

Thanks,

Kind Regards
