In addition, I made the following short between the last cell (cell 15) and VBAT:
Is that OK to add the serial diode as shown above?

1，What is the purpose of adding this diode?Normally, you don't need to add this diode. If you really want to add this diode, I don't think it will affect the normal use of the system.
2，For unused channels, shorting them all to BAT is the recommended method in our data sheet.
