Tool/software:

Hi Team,

What's the differences between LM22676, LM22673 an LM26765? Customer is asking it. Thanks for your great help here.

BRs,

Francis

  • Hi Franics,

Did you mean LM2676 as the third device?

If so, it a lower frequency one compared to the other two, so more suited for higher efficiency applications.

Between LM22676 and LM22673 the difference is mostly in the features. LM22673 has adjustable current limit and soft start time.

Just FYI, these are somewhat older devices so you might want to take a look at some newer alternatives.

  • Hi Niranjan,

    Thanks for your help.

Yes, LM2676. I know these device are old, I have promoted TPS542021 to customer but there is no CPN in their system(means more complex), could you please also suggest a wide buck device here, that I will let customer consider it also. Thanks. 10-40Vin, 5Vout, 2A load.

    BRs,

    Francis

  • Hi Francis,

If VIN range can go up to 40V, it would be best to have a converter which can support at least 60V input voltage.

You can consider the following devices :

    1) LMR16020 : 60V,2A async buck

    2) LMR36520 : 60V, 2A sync buck

    3) LMR38020 : 80V, 2A sync buck if more margin is needed

    Niranjan
