Hi Team,

Customer test to find there were 5mA current in BAT after full charging(still keep adapter), but the adapter is not in charging status.

After 24hrs standby, the SOC drop from 100% to 95%, is that aligned with you expectation? Will VBUS still power system or power with BAT?

Can you please report the register map, VBUS voltage, VBAT voltage, VSYS voltage, SYS load (current and waveform), and IBAT (current and waveform) when this is happening? Also please provide a schematic.

Thanks for your reply. I will let customer provide it tomorrow.

Btw, I double check the symptom, the current consumption is 3mA instead of 5mA. 3*24h=72mAh, the total capacity is 1300mAh. So the one-day consumption is 72/1300=5.5%, aligned with our observation.

But I am confuse will charger provide Isys through VBUS at this time?

The current in idle status is ~20mA, after removing VBUS, the system will be powered by BAT. Why do you ask such question?

Hello,

We still need answers to the following question (note voltages and currents measured in real time not just from ADC): VBUS voltage/current (should be 0V/0A because not attached but need to check), VBAT voltage, VSYS voltage, SYS load (current and waveform), and IBAT (current and waveform) when this is happening? Also please provide a schematic.

I am thinking there is a small load on SYS that is taking current from VBAT.

This is what we concern, since there is no spec to describe the charger behavior after full charge and remain adapter.

Hello,

I really need a more clear presentation of the setup. You say it is 20 mA when removing VBUS, but then say "full charge and remain adapter". Is there an adapter or no adapter? Please provide the requested schematic, voltages, and currents.
