UCC28780: device recommendation

Hi team,

We are looking for a power chip recommendation. The requirements are as follows. Please recommend a suitable device.
1. This IC is used for flyback power supply control and can directly drive SiC tubes.
2. The total flyback output power is 100~105W.
3. The input voltage range is 250V~820V

    HI Lillian,

    The UCC28780 or UCC28782 are the most efficient controllers but might be difficult to work together with SiC as these are zero-voltage switching flybacks. I am not saying they can't be made to work, I just haven't seen it done and so don't know what to expect.

    The cheapest option might be the UCC28750. For the lowest standby power, the UCC28730 might work. We do have the EVM for the UCC28C56 which supports 40W using a SiC FET.
