TPS65296: 1.1V output allowable C loading

Part Number: TPS65296

Tool/software:

Hi there,

I am posting this for the end user:

===============

(...)

We are using the TPS65296RJER to supply voltage for LPDDR4 RAM. We are using a Micron MT53E2G32D4DE-04. On the 1.1 V output, the TPS65296RJER datasheet has a maximum recommendation of 142 microfarads output capacitance with 0.68 microhenry’s. The RAM decoupling guidelines recommended 48 microfarads per package, and we are using 5. This leads to a higher output capacitance than the maximum recommended.   How should we proceed with this?

Thank you in advance for any advice you may offer.

Sincerely,

Tom
