I have a simple question on the LM74502-Q1 why you have the dVdT RC for slew rate control going from gate to gnd rather than gate to source? I'm missing something obvious and would like to understand.

Hi Jeremy,
The FET is driven in source-follower configuration and hence if GATE rises slowly, source is bound to rise slowly which is the whole idea behind reducing inrush current.
The RC slows down the GATE rise time.
