UCC2800: Substitutions

Part Number: UCC2800
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5021, UCC28C53

Tool/software:

Hi,

I currently have a design that utilizes the UCC2843 PWM controller. We are in the process of a redesign and wanted to substitute this component for a newer, more efficient chip. Using the TI Webench Power Designer, I see that the LM5021, UCC28750X, and the UCC280X series are all recommended, with very similar efficiencies & footprints. What would be the closest line to our current device? What are the differences between these designs?

Best,

Vaiva
