Hi,

After mass production, we performed IV interterminal measurements on the product that had a problem, and found abnormalities in the OUT/BAT/ISET pins. The cause may be EOS, and we would like to know if there are any EOS countermeasures for these pins.

There is a fuse between the battery and the IC.

    Hi Nishie,

    Thanks for reaching out. Please refer to the Absolute Maximum Ratings table from the BQ2407x datasheet:

    If the OUT, BAT, or ISET pins experienced conditions exceeding those listed in the table, it's possible the device was damaged.

    The BQ24072 does not include battery overvoltage protection, system overvoltage protection, or battery overcurrent protection. If a more integrated solution is needed, the BQ25185 includes these protections.
