Hi expert,

My customer would like to know the open short test result and behaivor at specific pins as below. Do we have any data?

OPEN test

1. FB open with PVIN=12V

2. VOS open

SHORT test

1. FB short to GND

2. VOS short to GND

Hi Kotaro Yamashita,

Specifically we don't do this tests.

If we want we can explain theoretically...however if customer wants to know really test data they have to test on TI EVM.

Hi Kotaro Yamashita,

Performed simulation with below circuit.

FB pin short to GND:

VOS short to GND

In both the FB pin open or VOS Pin open condition it will regulate to different voltage than the set voltage - Whenever we do load transient the buck will go to unstable.
