The battery of the device is very small, with a capacity of 173mAh. When the device is startup, the current of the entire system changes greatly, up to 580mA (3C+ discharging!), and then the current will fluctuate dramatically between 3xxmA /2xxmA /1xxmA . I found that when the bq27427 calculates battery's capacity during device startup, the battery's capacity becomes inaccurate.
So we hope to re-estimate battery's capacity when the device is turned on and enters the Android idle mode, as the current consumption is relatively stable at this time. But before entering the Android idle mode, bq27427 in the kernel stage has already been probe and initialized, and there is already battery's capacity being reported.
So what method is there to make bq27427 abandon battery's capacity in the kernel stage and re-estimate capacity at the current time?
