TPS61322: Keep Burning TPS613222ADBVR Chips With A TRF7970A Load

Part Number: TPS61322
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TRF7970A, , TPS61299

Tool/software:

I have a circuit with a 3.7V LC26650 battery feeding a booster TPS613222ADBVR to get an output of 5V. I have tested the circuit in the picture below with and without the diode between SW and VOUT. The load is a microcontroller controlling a TI NFC chip TRF7970A with an NFC passive antenna. This load circuit is not supposed to go over 220mA in current. I keep burning the TPS613222ADBVR chips. They get fried. The load works fine with 5V coming from a power supply. As soon as I connect the TPS613222ADBVR circuit to the load, I get the smoke. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm using a breadboard. What do you recommend me to do? Should I use another DC booster? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
