Tool/software:
Hello:
The customer uses TI's TPS3813 to design a watchdog circuit, and the specific circuit is as follows:
At present, WDT=3.3V and WDR=0. May I ask, how many cycles of feeding signals should be provided to WDI to prevent TPS3813 from resetting?
TI's datasheet is not easy to understand:
The customer designed a dog feeding signal with a frequency of around 1Hz and a pulse width of around 10-20mS according to the table and timing diagram above.
The actual measured TPS3813/RST foot has a pulse of around 32Hz, and it feels like TPS3813 is always resetting. Is the dog feeding signal set incorrectly on the customer's end?
After power on, the reset pin of the watchdog is directly reset
Could you please let TI know how to configure the dog feeding pulse and provide it to WDI. The datasheet is not written clearly. According to the customer's understanding, no matter how it is configured, it will not work. The phenomenon is the same, and the/RESET pin outputs pulses of around 32Hz.
