LM5171EVM-BIDIR: Regulation fails when Rcs is modified.

Part Number: LM5171EVM-BIDIR

Tool/software:

The equation defining I_channel_DC current (pg 19 of datasheet, equation 3) does not appear to be as universal as desired.
With Rcs = 1 milliOhm, the current and Viset both track per the equation.
When I replaced Rcs with a 5 milliOhm (for an anticipated steady load of 10 amps), the Viset and I-channel_DC do not follow the equation at all.
Furthermore, I can only get the EVM to pass 3.7 amps (Viset = 2.84) before the device clamps down to a minimal level and no longer regulates.
Changing Rcs back to 1 milliOhm gets everything working again.
Rcs was modified per section 6.3.4 of the datasheet asking for 50 mV at rated current.
Is there more needed or are there thoughts to why the EVM doesn't work at Rcs other than 0.001 ohm?
BTW, this is a single channel test. Channel 2 has been disabled per section 2.4.5 of the Eval Board User Guide.

Thank you.
