I find LM5137F-Q1’s Iout(max) is 40A.

My question: Is 40A for 1 channel or 2 channels?

Hi Leo,

It really comes down to the power-stage components, Vin-max, Fsw, max temp, etc. I would consider 20A/phase steady state (40A for 2 phases) is possible from a 12V input. 15A/phase (30A for 2 phases) is more realistic for 48V inputs.
