BQ76940: Multiple failures noted on VC11 pin that results in pin shorting to VC10B

Tool/software:

We have noted multiple failures of the VC11 pin that results in shorting to VC10B on the IC. We are using external components to support balancing operation. Failure is noted on startup prior to IC operation. What could be causing this failure? otherwise the IC

    Hi Troy, 

    This thread is very generic, can you clarify on what sort of failure you are observing? Failures sources can vary significantly, and can be attribute it to system design. Had you make sure all the specs and absolute maximum ratings of the BQ76940 are met?
