BQ24600: BQ24600+AFE Reference design

Tool/software:

A 5-cell series polymer lithium battery uses BQ24600 as the charging management for the battery pack. Now, a 5-cell series battery analog front-end chip is needed for battery balancing, overvoltage, overdischarge and overcharge protection. Could you please provide a schematic design reference for the overall solution of the BQ24600+AFF chip?

    Hello Jiang,

    The BQ76905 is a 5S battery monitor that offers those features you are looking for. We have an EVM that you can reference for a schematic design, however, I am not familiar with the BQ24600 device as that is from a different team.

    To my knowledge, I don't know of a reference design with the BQ24600 and one of our monitors, however, they may have their own schematics you can refer to as well.
