My questions:

Is the trace as shown the yellow part? What is the function of this trace?

Why TPS4H160-Q1 doesn’t have this trace?

Hi Leo,

the highlighted section of the layout is not a connection. The only connection between the device ground and module ground is through the ground network.

the statement about one trace is talking about connecting all of the ground network connections together in one trace to be able to better dissipate energy.
