UCC256402: Application issues.

Hi Team,

During factory production, it was discovered that the power supply would automatically restart during load testing. After investigation, we found that it was due to the new batch of chips. We replaced it with chips from a different batch (with the same peripheral components, except for the UCC256402 IC), and there was no restart issue. It's not just an isolated case, but all 80 units of this machine that have just been produced recently have this issue.

Could you please help analyze the reason?

Just to clarify, customer did ABA swap test and the issue follows with the new batch material, right?

Are we talking about 80 boards/systems or 80 units on few boards?

Do you have any waveform to show the reset behavior? We need more details.

We reviewed the manufacturing history and test data on the new batch but didn't find anything abnormal.

This issue occurred in the new batch of UCC256402,

which uses 1 piece per board,

We have produced 80 pieces, all of which have this issue.

OK, we need to see the waveform to understand the failure behavior more.

Have you tried more units from the same batch?
