Dear TI Experts,
We plan use LP8866S-Q to implement LCD backlight function., could you help to evaluate whether I can use boost topology to grantee the led driver work normal in below input voltage conditions.?if no, could you provide some better solutions to me?
Design Input:
a.Output load :4 LED strings ; 7 LEDs for each string , 19V to 23,5V for each LED string 's votage , 120mA / string
b.Operating voltage range :5,5V to 20V
c.Special operating voltage : 23V , duration time <1ms
d.Load dump voltage 1: td =180ms, Us=30V, Ua=13.5V
f: Load dump voltage 2:td=180ms,Us=35V, Ua=13.5v
