Hi Shotaro-san,

Please refer section 7 for all the Layout related documentation. FYI, it is highly recommended to use 4-layer board for better thermals.

The customer's design uses 2 layer PCB. This is the reason why I am posting to E2E. Can you tell me specific recommendation? TPSM861252 is a module.

Shotaro-san, we don't have anything specific documented for 2-layer as suggestion is wrt 4-layer only. We can review Customer's layout if required.

Hi Gautam-san,

I checked EVM layout. I think "Inner1 Layer" and "Inner2 Layer" are just prepared for thermal management. And even if there is no both layers, the DC/DC module works. Is it not correct?

Yes, you're right. Hence I mentioned earlier "for better thermals". Rest of the layout guidelines are anyways documented under: 8.4.1 Layout Guidelines of datasheet; which is good enough.
