TPS563219A: For PG PIN Control

[Question]

Regarding the PG pin, will it be driven low while EN is low (deasserted)?

[Background]

I was concerned that when pulling up the PG pin with an external power supply other than Vout

it might accidentally output high, so I asked. (This was not mentioned in the datasheet.)

Could you answer it?

Subject device:

TPS563219A

TPS564257

TPS563257

TPS74801

TPS51206

  • Hello Daisuke,

The PG signal will remain low even if it is tied to external power supply.

This is explained in datasheet in 7.3.3  section that PG becomes HIGH when the output voltage becomes within 10% of the target value

so as soon as Vin comes, PG signal will go low.

    Thanks,
