Tool/software:
Hi,
are the NC pins of this device really not connected inside the device?
Is it possilble to connect them to Vout without any impact?
My customer wants to replace another device.
Best regards

Hi,
The pins are not internally connected. You can connect them to VOUT.
Thanks
Ishaan
Please confirm that for DGK package pin 2 (NC) can connected to pin 1 (OUT) without any restriction, against the specification in the datasheet (yellow marked in the screenshot)
Yes, I confirm (as I did before) that we can connect pin 2 on the DGK package to OUT
Thanks for your response. I have another question to this topic.
We want to replace another LDO in an existing design by the LM2936QMM-5.0/NOPB and we have the following parameters:
maximum output current is <=1mA
TJ is -40°C to +100°C
Input voltage is 6-36V
Problem is the output capacitor on our PCB has 0402 footprint. Is there a possibility to reduce the capacitance and ESR requirements for the output capacitor, because with 0402 package the requirements could not be fullfilled?

The Capacitance and ESR requirement cannot be reduced because these are tied to stability of the LDO. Please note that any capacitance already on the OUT node will count towards meeting the COUT requirement.
