BQ28Z610-R1: Where to store custom Golden Image version information inside TI fuel gauges?

Part Number: BQ28Z610-R1

Tool/software:

Hello,

We are currently managing our own golden image files and would like to keep track of their versions. To do so, we’re looking for a recommended way to store a custom version number **inside the fuel gauge** itself.

Could you please advise **where we can store this golden image version information in the fuel gauge’s internal memory**?

We are working with various TI fuel gauge models, so we are especially interested in a unified or general guideline that applies to **most (or all) TI fuel gauges**.

Specifically, we would like to know:
- Which register or data flash location (if any) is safe and recommended for storing user-defined version information?
- Are there reserved or unused fields commonly available across different fuel gauge families?
- Is there an established best practice for this purpose?

Any official documentation or recommendations would be highly appreciated.

If there is no general or official method available, we would appreciate specific guidance for the **BQ28Z610-R1** device.

Thank you!
