Hi Team,
Customer use TLV62569+LDO configuration to power the sensor. They find in different output voltage of Buck, the transient response performance will decrease and effect the performance of sensor. But when they removed the LDO, the performance will be recovered.
We want to know the effect that the LDO bring to Buck regarding transient response.
Schematic:
The MOSFET in FB pin is not used in the test process.
The first configuration is :
3.6V Input voltage/ 1.1V Output voltage, The LDO output is 0.87V, around 300mA average output current, 600mA maximum output current.
10uF of LDO input capacitance and 70uF LDO output capacitance.
They use 12cm coaxial cable (5mOhm resistance) to connect Buck and LDO.
Transient resposne:
the first configuration is :
3.6V Input voltage/ 1.3V Output voltage, The LDO output is 0.87V, around 300mA average output current, 600mA maximum output current.
Waveform:
We want to know the root cause of the change of transient response in Buck+LDO system.
