We have a system using the TSP24740 for Hotswap and Oring application as below.
Low-side tray and High-side are the same, and use an middle board to connection eachother.
Each tray could support 7 fans, with each fan rated 54W, total 54W*7 pre tray.
- NO.1 signals for High-side tray.
- NO.2 signals for Low-side tray.
Below is the normal power-on sequence for the whole system (PSU1 and PSU2 are turned on simultaneously):
(Ch3)_V12_MAIN_HS_BGATE_NO.1 ->only 15.29V High -side tray Oring gate does not turn on
(Ch7)_V12_MAIN_HS_BGATE_NO.2 -> 23.15V Low -side tray Oring gate turn on
We expect the High-side tray ORing to turn on when the Low-side tray AC power is turned off. However, the High-side tray ORing still turn off.
We are not sure what reason causing the High -side tray Oring not turn on.
Could you please provide us with relevant suggestions based on the issue?
