Dear Support,
I have designed the BQ28Z620 fuel-gauge IC into a new product and am currently developing the software library for it.
I have also purchased the related evaluation kit and noticed an inconsistency between the Technical Reference Manual (SLUUCO9A) and BQStudio regarding the Data Flash memory table.
The TRM lists different addresses for the same memory locations compared to BQStudio. Please see the example below:
Could you please clarify which reference is correct?
Additionally, I encountered an issue when starting BQStudio and selecting the BQ28Z620R1 chip. The software displays the following information:
I suspect this might be related to a revision difference between R1 and R2, but I am not certain. My chip shows the following identifiers:
Device Code: 2620_1_01
Hardware Version: A3
If there is a newer .bqz file available that supports this revision, could you please share it?
