TPS23754: Reference design for 24V output at 0.5A

Is there a reference design for the TPS23754 that is more compact than PMP22301, but still uses an off-the-shelf transformer?

Requirements:

Vout is 24V

Iout is 0.5A

Vin is 44 to 57V DC

    Hi Darren,

    Sorry that we do not have another 24V TPS23754  reference design. The board size could be reduced by the layout mainly. 

    If customer can use TPS23731 they may use primary side regulation which has BOM savings:
    - 1 x Optocoupler (FOD817AS)
    - 1 x External error amplifier (TL431)
    - 2 x Secondary side soft-start diodes (BAT54S-7-F for 2 diodes)

    I appreciate the recommendation.  Is there a reference design that shows what you just described with TPS23731?  (Ideally with 24V output)

    Hi Darren,

    PMP22806 is a 12V reference design using TPS23731. Its transformer (LDT1069-50R) windings can be configured to a 24V output by below changes. 

    And the secondary side switching diode and capacitors need to be changed to meet a higher output voltage: diode needs 100V or higher, output capacitors need 30V or higher.
