UCC28950: efficiency not good

Part Number: UCC28950

Tool/software:

Hi Sir,

UCC28950 SR is applied to SMR2400W, and the efficiency of LOAD50%~90% increases by more than 1%,

But the same schematic is applied to SMR9600W SR, and the efficiency of LOAD50%~90% does not increase,

What is the possible reason? Where should we check and modify?

    Hello,

     

    Different FETs have different Rds(on) resistances. More than likely there is different in the FETs Rds(on)s.  To get the highest efficiency, I would recommend you use a FETs with lower Rds(on) to improve effiency.
