Most likely these HW specs were verified on simulation at least.

Hello Yan,

The AFE watchdog is an internal timer on the HW. The watchdog has its own HW registers which the FW is constantly checking and using. I cannot find documentation on how exactly it was tested, but it could be in checked through SMBus communication and just wait until the watchdog gets triggered
