Tool/software:
Hi,
I would like to reduce the PG voltage to prevent damage to the ADC.
I am using the divider (in the order of 10k) for this purpose. Would like to check the schematic is correct?

Hello sim,
The circuit shown above will always give Vo*R11/(R10+R11) independent of PG status.
Instead, if you connect voltage divider at PG pin of IC,
your output voltage will be 0 or Vo* R11/(R3 +R10+R11) depending upon PG status.
Thanks,
Hitesh.
Hi,
Thks for the clarification. R3, R10 and R11 are currently in the range of 10K ohm. Are they appropriate, or should they be 100K ohm range.
I am afraid they "interfere" with my Vo. R1 and R2 are also in the 10k ohm range.
Hello Sim,
100K will also be fine, it will decrease leakage on the Vout.
Even you can make R10 as 0 and make R11 and R3 both as say 100K and get the PG voltage as 0 or Vout/2.
these values you can decide based on your ADC input VIH.
Thanks,
Hitesh.
