Hi All,

I have a question about the TPS65931211.

In the SK-AM62A-LP EVM schematic, GPIO3/GPIO4/GPIO5/GPIO6 are 3.3V input signals or 5V output signals.

In the TPS6593-Q1 datasheet, they are 1.8V signals as shown below.
The notes say that a 5.5V signal is OK for a fail-safe GPIO, but can GPIO3/GPIO4/GPIO5/GPIO6 be input up to 5.5V?

Hello Ishiwata,

That's correct, while those are the ABS max preferably it would be under the Recommend Operating Conditions. The fail-safe GPIO inputs should be done after power has been applied to the PMIC and not energized before PMIC power has been applied to the fail-safe GPIOs.
