TPS6594-Q1: alternative part number.

Hi,

I hope you are doing well. i am designing DRA821U processor base single board computer. And now i am following the reference design, but the power management IC TPS6594141BRWERQ1 is not available on Digikey and i am sourcing all components from digikey. i find out two alternative ICS on digikey which are :

TPS6594110BRWERQ1

TPS6594120ARWERQ1

But i don't know that they are compatible with DRA821U or not.

So can you help me to find out alternative part number of TPS6594141BRWERQ1 and make sure that it is available on digikey.

    Hi Muhammad,

    The different long part numbers (e.g. TPS6594110B vs TPS6594120A vs TPS6594141B) of the TPS6594-Q1 indicate different pre-programmed configurations of the PMIC - therefore they are not usually interchangeable for production builds. You would want to get the TPS6594141B as that is the deviced preprogrammed with the correct configuration for powering DRA821U - please see the user's guide www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slvuby7 for more information about the configuration.

    Hi,

    I hope you are doing well. I understand your point. but TPS6594141B PMIC is not available on digikey. So is there any alternative PMIC to power up DRA821U.

    if there is no alternative to TPS6594141B PMIC, then i will try to purchase it from other vendors.

    The second option i have is to provide me the pre-programmed configuration file of TPS6594141B for DRA821U. 

    So i will use that file to configure the TPS6594110B or TPS6594120A PMIC for DRA821U.
