Hi, for context, I wish to operate a load in the overcurrent region for a small duration underneath the trip curve. To do so, I must consider how quickly the Ci2t capacitor is Discharging/Charging at some saturation level (internal current source must have some limit). The V/S rate is provided as:
It is not indicated what the maximum saturated discharge current is for the Ci2t capacitor is (V/S). Or for the above formulas, (note this is not the discharge resistance (1200ohm) proven by testing).
Also provided is the below, which also doesn't indicate if this is the maximum discharging current. Or purely a metric given to how long the CI2T capacitor takes to start behaving predictability based on Ci2t value.
The core aspect of the question is: How do we find the upper limits for charging and discharging rate of the Ci2t capacitor. So, we may know the period between overcurrent pulses can be applied.
