Hello,
I'm currently working with the BQ27Z746 fuel gauge, but it is not connecting to BQStudio. The fuel gauge does not output voltage even when connected to the device.
Even while charging, the gauge does not connect.

It was working fine at first, but after flashing the image in BQStudio (which showed "0/0" during the process), it never connected again.

Previously, with the BQ27Z556, I was able to resolve a similar issue by fully discharging the battery and then recharging it, which allowed BQStudio to reconnect.
However, this approach does not work for the BQ27Z746.

Please, I would really appreciate any help or guidance on how to recover the device.

I'm using BQStudio version 1.3.127.

Hello,

Please refer to the BQ27Z746 EVM User's Guide.

Ensure you are properly waking the gauge by applying a voltage greater than Vstartup on PACK.

i have question

Initially, the fuel gauge operates normally when sufficient voltage is applied (battery charged to 50%). However, after a failed flash attempt using bqStudio, the device can no longer be connected to bqStudio. What should be done in this case?
In a similar situation with the bq27z558, we were able to reconnect to bqStudio by fully discharging the battery and then charging it again. Is this an appropriate way to recover the device? If not, please let us know the correct method.

Hello,

The gauge could just be going into shutdown mode via voltage (refer to the TRM). If you send me the BQStudio log file with this behavior and your gg file, I can confirm this behavior.
