TPS22810: Two devices in OR-ing configuration

Hi Experts,

Good day.

Would like to ask if it is possible to use two TPS22810 devices in an ORing configuration. One power source is a 3S9P battery ranging from 9V to 12.6V, while the other is a fixed 12V supply.

    Hello Archie,

    You need reverse current blocking for Oring controller.

    TPS22810 doesn't have Oring.

    What's the current rating you are looking for?

    I will assign the thread to my colleague who supports ID and Oring.

    Customer shared info:

    TPS2121 power mux, but unfortunately its quiescent current is too high (up to 400 µA). Are there any power muxes available with lower quiescent current? 
    One power source is a 3S9P battery ranging from 9V to 12.6V, while the other is a fixed 12V supply. The maximum load current is 1A.

    Hi Archie,

    You can consider using LM74700 which will prioritize the higher voltage available. You will not have control over which power rail to use.
