LMG5126: Boost Controller Recommendation for 12V to 36V/48V/60V, 50W, Sync-Rectified Application

Part Number: LMG5126

Tool/software:

Dear TI team,

I’m currently designing a Boost converter circuit with the following specifications and would appreciate your recommendation on suitable TI controllers:

  • Input Voltage: 12V

  • Output Voltage: Single output port selectable between 36V / 48V / 60V depending on load requirements

  • Output Power: Up to 60W

  • Topology: Boost with synchronous rectification

  • Control Interface: Preferably accepts a reference voltage from an MCU for output voltage regulation

I’ve come across the LMG5126, which seems promising for this application, but I noticed it is not yet available for purchase. May I ask:

  1. Is the LMG5126 currently available for sampling or pre-order?

  2. If not, do you have any available alternative controllers that support:

    • Wide output voltage control (via MCU DAC or analog reference)

    • Synchronous rectification

    • Suitable for 12V to 60V output, up to 60W

  3. Alternatively, could you suggest a system approach or architecture using existing TI products to implement selectable output voltages (36V / 48V / 60V)?

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Nina Tan
