BQ28Z610: About the I2C "tR" Time

Hi, Team

My customer use BQ28Z610, and start to test the i2c timing spec. In datasheet, i2c tR time is 300ns max.

and customer test result is 777.2ns. which is out of our spec. But customer feedback that the i2c communication function is OK, so they prefer check with TI, whether this tR time is Ok or not?

do u have any comments?

The max. means that TI will guarantee that it will work. 777ns may still work but it's not within the specification so it's not guaranteed by TI. I recommend reducing their pull-up resistors to speed up the rise time.
