Hi Team,

We are currently using the LED driver in our design.LP5815

1) We would like to know the current consumption of the IC?

2) Also, we would like to know is there any series resistor need to be added for LED?

3) I have attached the schematic for your review. Let me know your inputs on this.

    Hi Sathya,

    1. Please find the operation current of the LP5815 under different conditions as shown in the EC table below.
    2. No, as the output is constant current control, so there is no need to place the serial resistor.
    3. The schematic looks ok. Just note that the I2C needs pull-up resistors.

    Besides that, may I know who the customer is and what the end equipment is?
