Tool/software:
HI sir
we use the ULN2003 over 20 years, no any issue before
now, we meet 5% fail rate in the parts. old date code is ok, new data code fails
may i know what any PCN released?
thanks
Alex,
The PCN was released over year ago and all of the datasheet specifications remained the same, save for thermal parameters that do not have an effect on electrical characteristics. Return have been minimal. As long as the device operates within the specified min/max values in the datasheet, there are no concerns for reliability.
Best Regards,
Tim
hi TIM
Die size change?
we use the ULN2003 in high voltage output machine,
old date code is fine, but new date code fail rate is high
Alex,
Can you comment on what the loading conditions are for each channel running at the same time? As long as none of the abs max parameters are being in the datasheet, we would not expect any significant increases in failures.
Best Regards,
Tim
HI TIM
May I know the parameter different between old & new data code?
Reverse Recovery Time in diode of ULN2003?
thanks
With regards to reverse recovery time (and all of the other parameters, save for thermal), no changes.
HI SIR
We change to UTC 2003, all pass, no fail , did you have any suggestion?
we use the ULN2003 To driver the Relay (5000v), the end application is the Hypot tester ,TI also use the machine for isolator test
thanks
Hi Alex,
I'd like to draw attention to Tim's comment above:
"Can you comment on what the loading conditions are for each channel running at the same time? As long as none of the abs max parameters are being in the datasheet, we would not expect any significant increases in failures."
This will help us determine under what conditions the device is running to see if there are any concerns.
Thanks,
