My customer CosMX want to disable the short circuit protection in some situations. So they want to use a MOSFET to short the TMR to GND when they want to disable the short circuit protection, but the CS+/ CS- still connect RSNS and ISCP still connects RSCP (they can't short the CS+/ CS- to VS because of the space limit). Do you think it is a good way to disable short circuit protection?
Besides, in some special case (continuous short circuit), customer need to clear the Fault and disable Short circuit protection. They want to disable the short circuit protection by shorting the TMR to GND, and then clear the Fault. Is the operation sequence OK for TPS1210-Q1? Thanks.
