TPS92692: Powering control circuit

Hi team,

I'm planning to include a small control circuit with thermistor and FETs to pull-down the SS pin. Is it ok to power this control circuit from VREF (or VCC) of this IC?

The current required is around 5mA.

    Hi Jagan,

    To answer your question directly, yes you may.

    However, we also have an option for thermal foldback protection in the datasheet which will reduce LED current as heat rises.

    This is in the data sheet
