We have an extremely dynamic input signal that would be coming into the BQ77207 device.
Would there be any issue with false tripping since we would be over OVP and under UVP for some period of time throughout the cycle.
The waveform is shown below. 8kHz wave @ 1ms/division.

Hello Keith,
There could be false tripping if the cell voltage exceeds the threshold for the programmed delay. If it doesn't stay above or below the OVP/UVP threshold for it's delay time, the protection should not trip. I have attached the following diagrams from the datasheet to show the behavior.
