Power stage CSD95490Q5MC is marked not recommended for new designs. The recommended replacement parts are not rated for the same continuous current. Can you please provide some information on why these parts have gone NRFND and when the end of life status is expected, and information on general part availability? Can you recommend other devices with at least a 50A continuous current rating that are in the active stage in their lifecycle?

Hello,

CSD95490Q5MC is not recommended for new design due to internal parasitic lateral NPN turning on at higher load current.

For load current above 50A, CSD59950 is a good fit.

Hi Mahmoud, thank you for the information and the recommendation. I do not see the CSD59950 listed or readily available on TI's website. What is the current lifecycle of this part?

Hello,

it is in secured folder. The life cycle on TI products is usually 10 years.
