TPS2062: About Enable requirement

Part Number: TPS2062

Tool/software:

Hi team,

It seems that the EN# terminal input does not have a hysteresis from datasheet characteristic.

Is it acceptable for the device to receive signals with slow rise/fall times, such as those from open-collector or open-drain outputs?

Also, if there are any specifications regarding input slew rate, could you please share them?

 Best regarsds,

teritama

  • Hi Teritam,

The enable pin of TPS2062 is checking if there's a logic high or low on the pin, so there's no hysteresis.

There's no input slew rate related specs and I don't think EN is sensitive to slew rate. Even with an open drain device if a logic high/low transfer can be achieved EN should work.
