LMG2652: LMG2652 in H-bridge configuration

Part Number: LMG2652
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMG2650,

Tool/software:

I am considering using the LMG2652 and later when available, the LMG2650 in a half bridge configuration for a single phase drive application.  There are a couple of details I'm hoping to learn before I further my development effort.

1.  Can the CS pins of two LMG2652's in a H-Bridge be directly ganged together to share a burden resistor like in an open drain configuration even if they need to be diode OR'd?

2.  All of the documentation and development kits provided appear to only show this device is interfaced directly to an Embedded controller with no galvanic isolation.  Is the level shifter within the LMG2652 galvanically isolated or should HMI domains be galvanically isolated from this device for safety purposes? It seems like tying everything in an embedded system to AGND could be a safety risk and also an EMC challenge.
